Visas
I am a US /Canadian citizen.
Do I need a visa?
Holders of US or Canadian passports may visit Luxembourg
for up to 90 days without a visa. The passport should
be valid for at least 3 months after leaving Luxembourg.
I am a resident of
Canada. Where do I apply for a Luxembourg visa?
Applicants who live in countries where Luxembourg
does not have consular representation should apply
with the Belgian Embassy or Consulate. Applicants
should contact the Belgian Embassy or Consulate directly
for information regarding the application process.
When can I submit
my application?
Applications are accepted by appointment only.
Do I need to appear
in person or may I apply by mail?
Applicants who live in the Washington, DC metro area
must appear in person. Applicants who live outside
the Washington, DC area and who are not under the
jurisdiction of the Consulates General in New York
or San Francisco may apply by mail. The Embassy of
Luxembourg is not responsible for items sent by mail.
